"This Is Halloween" Challenge: Ghost Goo

Hello everyone!  I have another fail for you today.  I thought it would be neat to draw ghosts on  my nails in glow in the dark polish so you could barely see it unless the lights were out.  Yeah, didn't work.  First off, the gitd was more opaque than I originally thought... Then.... Well.... They don't look like ghosts.  SO We will call it ghost goo and be good.  :)

Halloween Challenges no 4: Fail Watermarble

Hi everyone!  This is going to be a short post.  I attempted the water marble (against my better judgement), and it was a total fail.  We'll just say that the success I had last winter didn't extend past February.  Super fail!  Below is the result of HALF AN HOUR!  If the mani were working, I would have taken this off and done it again.  Since this was at least my tenth try, however, I kept it for the sake of saying I tried.  So, here it is:

One finger.  ONE.  The polish just like, melted off of the rest of the fingers during every other attempt I made.  It was a horrible mess.  So, there you have it!  My failed water marble attempt.

Halloween Challenge Post 2: Bloodlust!

Hello, hello!  Welcome to the third post of the Halloween Challenges! (And no, I still don't know how to add the widget, so if someone could help me out there, I'd really appreciate it!  You don't even know!)  Today's post theme is blood... so naturally mine is Dexter inspired.  I sort of did different kinds of patterns that he would be analyzing (or making teehee) on the different nails.  You can see the violent slashing splatter, pooling, and plain ol' spatter.  I actually REALLY like this mani and I might wear it out sometime this month!  (a cleaned up version, of course).

I found it SO hard to get a color accurate photo, my camera wanted to wash out the red.  I took this last photo with my phone and it seems to be the closest!  I used Zoya Rehka for the blood.

Halloween Challenge Day 1 pt 2: Horror Movies!

Hi everyone!  I have my second (second first, that is haha) challenge post!  The theme of this challenge is Horror Movies!  I think my nails look absolutely HORRID (haha), so I'm not going to tell you what movie it is.  Feel free to guess below!  Here is what I came up with, though:

Halloween Challenge 1: Pumpkins!

Hi everyone!  Today is the first of October, my favorite month, and the first day of BOTH of my Halloween challenges!  (I will post the second tomorrow...)  The first day of this challenge is "halloween pumpkin" and this is what I came up with!

I quite liked what I had come up with until I saw everyone else's challenge nails.  Now I feel like mine are VERY sub par.  Hopefully I will get better by the end of the month!  Meanwhile, check out everyone else's awesome first day!  (Until I can figure out the widget, they can be found at http://www.glitterobsession.com at the bottom of her post).

My Favorite Month! Let's Do A Challenge! (Or Two)

I am trying very, very hard to get back to posting on a regular basis!  I don't want to flood you with reviews so I am going to space those out in between my challenge posts.  I'm hoping a schedule will help me stay on track!  These will both start tomorrow and I'm hoping my art skills get at least a little bit better by the end of the month!  I hope some of you join us!  Feel free to leave links of your challenge posts on mine.  I am anxious to see what everyone else comes up with!
