Swaps!

Hi guys!  I haven't been doing AS MANY swaps since I've been in kind of a financial pinch, but I did get  one in February, one in March and one just the other day!  I jump around, but you'll get the idea :) 

First up is from my friend Mary!  Yes, the same Mary that did the guest post.  We are in a couple of fb groups together, and one wanted to do an "Easter" swap.  Of course I signed up!  She sent me some amazing things!  Isn't that Kitty just SO CUTE?  I love everything, Mary! 

 I don't know why this picture is so weird.  I can't get it fixed!  So I'll just type to the side.  Just this once.  I hate it!  lol  This next swap was actually the one I got in February, so technically the first swap.  Sorry for the confusion! lol  I swapped with one half of the amazing Inky Polisholicious.  These girls are based in Singapore.  I love just about anything she can get her hands on!  She posted my half of the swap on Valentine's Day, and I was supposed to.... but as you know, my internet was down.  :(  So here it is now!

These are just hard candies.  I'm amazed at the detail in them, though! The flavors are pretty awesome too.  I wish it said what they were! 

The treats.  The first pic is for those of you who have never seen Hello Panda (nom nom!).  The second picture is an Apollo.  It is chocolate on the bottom, and strawberry flavored on top. Yum! 

 The last swap I got last month.  I felt SUPER bad about this one!  She sent my package a LONG time before I got hers out.  I kept getting delayed :(  Luckily, it did finally get there to her!  I'm hoping I can do another with her soon because.... She is in Brazil!  I am talking about, of course, Estilo de Unha!  This girl sent me some truly amazing things! I am IN LOVE with the Mari Moon and hope to get the rest soon!

Pri and Mary, I just want you to know that I put up so many more pics of the Singapore swap because I forgot to get a group shot.  Your group shots show everything pretty well!  I love your packages too!  :) 

What do you think?  I'm going to be honest.  I am SO glad I got into blogging because of these ladies.  And others, of course, that I have met along the way.  The FB groups are awesome support, and swaps are incredibly fun!  I never would have gotten to do any of that if I hadn't started blogging!  I love you guys!

Holiday Hauls! Part 1

Hi everyone!  How did your Christmas go?  Tell me about it in the comment section!  Yes, it's back!  Today I have for you my Secret Santa gifts (and one package from Erika!).  I somehow got signed up to do FOUR Secret Santas on Facebook!  Whoops!  I was a little stressed that I wouldn't get them all bought/out, but in the end it was super fun.  So, onto the packages!

The first one I received was from Canada.  She sent really pretty stickers, a fun little snowman (that my dog immediately tried to hide), a sleep mask, a jewel set and some really cute tools.  See the clippers with the zebra print?  It has a bottle opener on it!  How cute is that??  She also sent some Purel and a couple of ADORABLE Canada Magnets.  Love them!

I love all of the polishes she sent!  The KC metallics are incredible, Twilight is gorgeous and Gasoline is omg.  Great job <3

The next one I got came almost a week and a half later.  They were really spread out!  In this one I got chocolates, fuzzy socks *love*, an Avon lotion and lip balm, Christmas cookie flavored lip glosses (which all smell good but the gingerbread one.  Ick.), stickers, a candle and a nerds rope (yum!).

Next one I got wasn't a SS.  It was a gift from my polish BFF Erika from Polish Fixation.  She spoils me!  With my polishes, I got TONS of candy and that cute little reindeer PEZ dispenser.

Erika knows me SO well!  The Nfu-OH was the biggest surprise ever!  LOVE it!  

This was actually the last package I received.  The one after it I actually got first.  This one came the Monday before Christmas.  I was getting worried!  Thanks for the heads up that it was coming from "santa" Debby!  

I didn't get a picture taken of the things unwrapped.  Duh.  What you see here, though, are snicker doodles (my faves!), hot cocoa mix (she had read that I like the cookies and cocoa together lol), lotion from Sally's, fuzzy socks (I'm telling ya, I LOVE those!), a nail file, Vaseline lip therapy (I got asked at work if it were my Barbie's vaseline jar teehee) and Orly Androgynie.  Loved everything!  

This last one wasn't from Facebook.  Amanda at The Nail Polish Enthusiast actually organized this one on Elfster.  This had to be the most fun of all of them!  We were able to make wish lists and ask each other questions (anonymously, of course) to find out more about each other.  Elfster assigned the swap partners and everything.  It was awesome!  I was overcome when I got my package.  It was so great!  Thank you!

Brazil Swap

Hi everyone!  I've been meaning to post this for awhile.  It's the second swap I did with Tata.  This time she sent me the HITS No Olimpo collection.  Brazilian holos are SO amazing!  Not going to talk much, but want to say THANKS!  These polishes are so amazing! :)  

Weird Brazilian candy.  I don't know what those little brown things are.  Any ideas?  The Paçoquita things are incredible.  Like the peanut butter inside Reese's pb cups.  But better.  And without chocolate.  I REALLY wish I could get those!  There were some cookies too, but I ate those bad boys! :)

Mega Haul!

Hi everyone!  Before I get to the haul, I'm going to warn you that in the next couple of weeks my photos are going to be a little wonky.  I have switched back to photoshop and will have an actual watermark (that matches every time! LOL), and hopefully all my pictures will be the same size.  I have several photos taken for the next month already, so in between the new styles, there will be some of the old photos showing up. Just thought I'd warn you!  

This week was epic.  I had great hauls!  Not anywhere near as awesome as some of you, but very very good for me! lol So, here we go!

To start off, I got the polishes I ordered from my friend, Pam's very first nail polish line!  She is calling them "Girly Bits."  They are truly amazing!  You need to check them out!  More information can be found on her blog Pam's Girly Bits

From Girly Bit's "Seas the Day" collection I got Street Magic, Stormy Skies, Purple Potion and Razzle Dazzle.  There are two that I didn't get, Sailor's Delight and Denim Diva.  They are an orange and a navy blue.  I just felt like I would wear them enough, so I didn't pick them up.  I'll tell you what though, I am IN LOVE and already plan on buying the winter collection.  I haven't even seen previews of any of them yet! Check these out FOR SURE!  

Next is a product that has been a source of great anticipation in the blogging community!  BOOTIE BABE!  Yes.  Bootie Babe has FINALLY launched!  I actually got two shipments from them. My original sample pack (shown below), and then some "replacement" bottles.  There is an issue with the lid I suppose that makes leaking a problem?  I didn't have issues that required replacements, but that's how awesome the company is!  Look for a review soon!

I forgot bottle shots of these two (see the new watermark?  haha)... Sorry!  You can see it on my nails though.  Brink of Pink, a hot pink cream. 

Purp Slurp.  A pretty pinkish purple cream! 

I also ordered from Sephora.  Which turns out was a bad idea because I have to do it again Friday!  Oh well.  Both orders were 20% off! 

For a swap I got two mystery polishes and Illamasqua Viridian.  For me I got Nails Inc Houses of Parliament and 212-Sephora.  So pretty! 

Next is a major lemming of pretty much...well... Everyone!  lol  A friend from Facebook got MAJORLY lucky dusty hunting and had some Kaleidoscopes to sell! 

I restrained myself (I'm lying. These were the only ones left by the time I found out she had them!) and only got He's Going In Circles, It's My Turn and Rated Holographic. 

Next, a swap.  From Brazil!  I'm not going into details.  This will be a separate post!  But take a look:

Finally, my Sally's haul.  Holiday polishes! 

Color Club: Orna-minted (mint scent), Very Merry Berry, Gingerbread Man, Sugar Plum Yum, Orly Androgeny, Color Club Santa's Cinnamon.  All of them were in stock, but the green one smells like pine, and pine makes me sick.  Sad, because it's really pretty! The rest of these smell AMAZING.  Get them.

Brazil Swap and Mani!

Hi everyone!  Sorry to have a haul post for you again so soon, but I am SO excited about the polishes! I got these in an international swap from the writer of Tata, Nada Ver!  She is an amazing girl, and she has amazing nails!  Click it!

You know I had to get holos!  Actually, all I got (except the one) are holo or flaky.  I am OBSESSED lately!  I'm bummed because it is going to rain the next couple of days, so I'll have to wait to see these in all their glory, but I couldn't wait and went ahead and did a mani with a couple of them:

I am wearing Sancion Angel Ariel, with Cassie on the accents.  I wish you could see the flakes better!  Check out the next few pictures, click to enlarge, maybe you can see them.  To my eye, though, the nails just look a little darker.  

So there you have it!  I was absolutely ecstatic when I found out this was coming, and you can see why! Sunday Haulday

Hi everyone!  I know I've been really inconsistent lately.  I suck.  Really.  But, I've decided to do a haul this week.  I hadn't been doing them, just out of boredom, but this week I have a great swap to show you and a few other things that I love that I got this week :)  I may do these haul posts on special occasions from now on or something.  So, here we go! 

I didn't buy much this week.  I didn't have to! What I DID get though (with my Amazon gc!) is the entire Kleancolor Starry Spring collection.  Thanks to the gc, I only paid $1.97.  Awesome!

I hate how unoriginal the names of these are, and I'm very confused by Holo Chrome. Ugh.  They are super pretty anyway, and I can deal with the stupid names!

Next up I have my first ever butter LONDON polishes!  These were sent to me.  I probably wouldn't have picked the colors, or at least PBR, but I'm kinda liking them.  A LOT.  There will be a review sometime soon!

I also got my first ever Lex polish!  I have been in love with the pictures I've seen of this particular polish, so I picked it out of all of them.  It hasn't disappointed so far.  Again, review soon!

This is my first magnetic polish.  I've been trying to get the hang of it, but I need a lot more practice!  I'll show you when I get it down and don't have smudge marks all the time!

This was also my first international swap.  I am ADDICTED!  I love love love the polishes I get from over seas!  I have another package from Brazil getting sent next week.  Those are all holos and flakes, I am SUPER dooper excited for it!  Steffi and I are already planning another swap soon as well.  :) 

Finally, Erika from Polish Fixation (another great blog that doesn't get as much recognition as it should!), sent me these little goodies.  I won't get into details, but it was a total surprise!  I didn't expect it and it totally made my day when the post man handed me the extra package!  Thanks Doll!

She sent me the Claire's dupes of the MAC Venomous Villians collection! I am STOKED!  I already wore Poison Apple and it. Is. Gorgeous.  *ugh*  Now I only need that last one.  So awesome!  She also sent me more po5g because I use it ALL. THE. TIME.  Seriously.  All the time.  lol  I have it frankened in so many colors! 

Anyway, thanks to my friends, this was an amazing haul week.  I love each and every polish I got from them!  Thank you girls!  I have some busy days of swatching ahead! 

Oh, off subject, how gorgeous is the weather today?  UGH!  It's almost chilly in the house :)  I'm going now, maybe to enjoy it!  Thanks for looking!
