An Update and An Announcement!

Hi everyone. I know I made a vow ages ago to start posting regularly again.  I was in a really good place, and I actually got some stuff done!  Then, without word, I disappeared again. Since then, all I've posted is a blog sale. 

I feel like I've really screwed myself here. Since google reader was discontinued, I'm basically starting over with followers. I am SO thankful to those of you that transferred to bloglovin and are still with me!  So I feel I owe you an explanation. 

Shortly after my posting spree, things got crazy. I was working 5-6 days a week, which meant I couldn't paint my nails. On my days off, I was so tired I didn't want to paint them just to take it off again in a couple of hours. Also during that time, my camera took a permanent shit on me. Just one more reason not to paint my nails. I wouldn't even be able to take pictures!! I became a little depressed (which I may get into in another post, but I'm not sure...). On top of all this, some old medical issues started to show up again. I was miserable. 

So, we've come to now. I quit my job because I just couldn't handle all the stress. A lot of things were involved in this decision, and it's a lot to get into. This means, I'm going to be close to broke for awhile. No new camera for me! However, I can get some almost decent shots from my trusty iPhone, so I'm hoping to post more again. I also have a little more time to harness my creativity, so I may be working on my art skills!  Maybe. I've never really had the patience, so we'll see!! Lol. 

Now, with all that out of the way I have some exciting news. A couple months back, a good friend of mine, Roni, and I talked about starting a nail polish line... And we did!!!  She owns what we called La Bella Vernice, The Beautiful Paint. I am co-lead designer, and we have lots of great things coming!!! We have a collection out now, and a glitter collection is slowly being released. You can check is out on Facebook or our website, www.labellavernice.com. 

This is a very exciting time for me and I can't wait for you all to see what we have in store!! For now I will leave you with pictures of my first duochrome baby, Ariel.
