Captivated!

Hi everyone!  Sorry about not getting my "haul" posted yesterday.  I slept ALL DAY.  I think I got too much sun at the races and I just didn't feel well.  I'll just add everything to next week's Sunday post.  Today I have the mani that I wore to the races.  Cult Nails Captivated!

One Coat

See the blue nail?  Yeah.  That's what the crayola polishes do if you don't wear base coat!  Whoops!  This is one coat.

Two Coats

I still had trouble with it going on evenly.  Some of the nails would have been okay here.  Two coats.

This is three, and where I stopped.  The only one that didn't have enough coverage was the stained nail(s).  The others looked REALLY good.  I love it. <3

Finished

This polish is beautiful, but kind of a pita to apply.  One of my nails was THICK because it got so gloopy.  I'm going to blame my fan since it didn't start so thick... but I can't stand not having the fan on.  Oh well.  Other than that, it's amazing.  I can't tell you how removal was.  Sadly, we lost the car the other night (great job, dad!), and I got really nervous and started peeling it off.  It came off great that way! HA!  I imagine it sucks to take off just like other glitters, though.

Pink Wednesday Glitter!

Hey everyone!  How's the week going?  Things are SO slow over here in Iowa.  It would help if the mail wasn't SO SLOW.  I'm waiting for packages from California (that got sent three weeks ago!) and Zoya.  What gives?  GRRR  I'm getting seriously fed up with the post office!  

Also, I added Intensedebate.  I'm really wanting you guys to know if I reply without coming back.  I know I forget to check back for answers, and I'm hoping this will help remember that you have questions that need answered!  Plus, I like that you can put your blog links on here.  I can check your posts if I'm not already following your blog :)  Unfortunately, I lost all of your previous comments in the install.  Bummer.  Anyway... Let me know what you think and if you like it or not! 

It is Wednesday, which means pretty pink polish :) Again, I cheated and used coral.  I'm sorry!  Please don't hurt me!  I've been in love with coral this summer.  Not JulieG love, but I've been wearing it a lot.

First off, we have Coral Fever.  This was from the Tracy Reese (?) Sally Hansen complete manicure line.  It is incredible.  I'm kind of upset, because I don't think I ever would have bought it if it didn't go on clearance at Target.  I seriously would have regretted it! 

Added I Lily Love You.  Two coats.  How great is this?  Probably my best glitter purchase of the year!

Finally, the obligatory blur shot to show the sparkly-ness.  This mani was GORGEOUS!  I seriously loved it.  It was, however, a serious pain in the ass to remove!  I was hoping it would be a little easier than most glitter because of the flakes, WRONG!  It was awful.  I have officially adopted the foil method!  Which has led to seriously dry finger tips.  Dammit.  Oh well.  

So, that's it for this week.  I will (hopefully!) have some nail mail this evening.  By the way, you guys are all wrong about what I posted yesterday morning.  I'm super excited about this weekend's haul... if I get everything I'm supposed to!  Keep guessing.  Maybe I'll put up another hint later today!

Pink Wednesday: Essie Your Hut or Mine

Hi everyone!  It's another pink Wednesday and I am so excited about this one!  I'm wearing another Amazon polish.  We never got the resort collection where I live (ANYWHERE!) so I finally had to order Your Hut or Mine.  I knew I HAD to have it when I saw the first swatch!  It's so pretty! It was also my first coral.  I know, incredible, right?  I'm such an addict but I never had a coral?  Now I have four or five.  I'm in love!  Even though coral isn't exactly pink, I'm wearing it for this post because is LEANS pink.  Close enough, right? :)

I don't really know how to describe this polish.  It is coral, it does lean pink (it's actually a little peachish) and it almost seems a little dusty. 

I love it.  It has this great shimmer running through it.  I am all about the shimmer right now.  It just saves so many colors from being so "blah."   That's all I really have to say about it.  I'm kind of speechless :)

On another note: What do you all think of Discus?  I reply to most of my comments, but I doubt any of you actually come back and check.  I don't.  I always forget when I leave a comment!  One that needs an answer anyway.  So I'm thinking of using something that will tell you when I reply.  Is Discus the go-to for this?  What does everyone think?  Should I use it?  Yay?  Nay?  Problems you have with it?  Let me know!
