Subtle Stamping with Illamasqua

Howdy!  Two posts in a row!  Told you I was back!  lol  Since the whole business with the teeth and working crazy hours at the beginning of the month and blah blah blah, I hadn't been doing my nails an awful lot.  They were either naked a good portion of the time, or I would do them and not get pictures taken before they were ruined!  I also had to get a new memory card because the one I was using wasn't reading anymore.  I saved the pictures on it, but it wasn't easy!  Those will all come at some point.  

Since I hadn't done my nails in forever AND I haven't been to work in two weeks, I decided they should look good for my triumphant return!  Luckily, I got a box from Sephora today... With Illamasqua in it!  Woot!  

I had bought Nudge for my swap partner before she told me that she had already gotten it *glares at CY lol* and I couldn't decide if I wanted to send it back for a different one or keep it.  I swatched it and I was hooked!  I'm keeping it.  For sure.  :)  I used it as a base and then stamped the dots with Illamasqua Nomad, which also came today, and then added the bow on my middle nail with $OPI Betsey Johnson I'ts My Pink!  

I love this mani! The Pictures aren't super accurate since I wasnt paying attention and used a green tinted base coat instead of a top coat, but you get the idea! What do you guys think? Thanks for reading!!

But, I'm A 212! I've Always Been A 212!

Yup!  Today I'm showing you $OPI 212-Sephora!  This polish was made for the opening of the Sephora Times Square store, and was thought to be limited edition (i.e.: Extinct).  Turns out, it's been re-released as a core (I think!) color!  It isn't marked LE on the website anymore anyway!  YAY!  So, go grab it!  I can show you pictures, and they are going to suck, so go to the store and see for yourself!  It is SO much better in person!  Enjoy!

These are seriously the only "good" pictures I could get.  I haven't seen any that are better! This shade is just Too. Hard. To. Capture!  There is holo micro glitter, duo chrome, flakes... It's truly insane.  Go check it out today!  GO!

Fall Nails! If Fall is Flakie, Dark and Gold?

Hi everyone!  So, if you are in my fb groups, you will know that I have "planned" out all my posts until the end of the year.  I may have mentioned it to you here as well, but I don't remember!  Today's post was supposed to be "Fall Nails."  Whatever that means.  I had envisioned something gorgeous, with reds and golds and oranges... That wasn't going to happen.  THEN I wanted to do a moon mani with Fowl Play under gold, and matte on top.  I don't have round stickers.  Or matte topcoat.  So, I threw in the towel and just started layering crap.  Seriously.  I got a bunch of polishes today (Sunday's haul is going to be MASSIVE!) that I wanted to use.  You can't really tell what anything on my nail is, but we can take a look anyway!  (Sorry for the mess... I don't know if I'm keeping it or not!)

So what I did here (love how those two middle pics aren't watermarked. GRRR) is use a coat of black, put Fowl Play on top then sponge 212-Sephora (YES I GOT IT!) about two thirds down, then sponged China Glaze It's My Turn on the tips.  It's pretty, but it's not what I had in mind!  What do you think?  Let me know!  Thanks for looking everyone!
