SinfulColors Shine Who's The Gloss?

Nothing To Disclose Affiliate Link

Hi all!  Today I have the ultra pretty Who's The Gloss from the SinfulColors Shine collection.  This is a dupe of Chanel's Paradoxal.  I had seen dupes before, but was never able to get my hands on them, so I grabbed one of these quick when I saw them at Walgreens!  Who's The Gloss? is a permanent shade of the Shine line of polishes.

In the bottle, the polish is more of a gray.  On me, it's a darker taupe.  This is probably the favorite "office friendly" color, out of all I've tried.  It's so pretty!

I feel like the purple shimmer makes it a little naughty.  :)  I love how it looks on me, though I never would have grabbed it if it ended up looking the same as in the bottle!

What's your favorite office color?  Is this in your stash?  Thanks for stopping in!

SinfulColors Cinderella

I want to apologize.  There are several things that are wrong with this post, but I need to do it anyway.  First off, you are going to see this polish a LOT in the coming days.  One blogger found it, and word has spread like wildfire.  It is amazing.

Secondly, my pictures do no justice.  I really wanted to inspire a polish frenzy at Walgreens, but no matter what I do I can't capture the pure amazing that is Cinderella.  You will have to take what I show you and use your imagination to fill in the rest.   I wish I could say that it's just my pictures, but all the others I've seen (even the ones better than mine) are still missing, well, a lot.

So, what is Cinderella?  Almost perfect.  I actually gasped in the store.  You really can't expect how beautiful it is!  What we have is a Cinderella-dress blue, with a pink-to-gold shift shimmer inside.  Like I said, I tried to catch it, but it does NOT want to show up on camera!  But, have a look.

My first light box pics!  Sorry they are a little awkward, I'll have to get used to holding my hand certain ways.  So, there are three that show the pink shimmer... almost.  Then, the last photo sort of catches the gold.  IRL, it is so much stronger and SO much prettier!

What do you think?  Swoon worthy?  I'm hoping to get some more of the new SinfulColors soon, but I couldn't bring myself to take attention away from this one quite yet.

The bad news?  This is available as part of a "Heartbreakers" display... that we probably won't get. The good news?  It's also permanent!  That is the only official information I have about these new shades, but they should be popping up in the main display soon!

Thanks for reading!

Polish-Aholics Anonymous Mondays: Glitterbomb!

Hi everyone!  How was your weekend?  I'm really kind of glad it's over.  I was bored!  Plus, it's hotter than hell's ass crack here.  The sooner the weekend is over, the sooner fall gets here!  I know, a little optimistic, but I have to be.  Heat and I just don't get along! :)

Today I have my first challenge from the Facebook group Polish-Aholics Anonymous.  This week's theme is glitterbomb.  This was the whole reason I joined the group!  I think it will be fun.  Plus, it will force me to try things I haven't before.  I tend to be safe and only do what I know how.

For my glitterbomb mani I first used Sally Hansen Complete Manicure in Barracuda, then sponged on Sinful Colors Hottie, China Glaze Dorothy Who?, OPI Absolutely Alice and finally Zoya Charla on the tips.  I like it a lot.  This was the first sponge mani I ever did!  Not bad eh?  I did have a problem with sponge pieces sticking on my nails.  I don't think you can see any in these pictures, but they're there!

I was hoping that I could get more glitter to show up in the sun.  As is classic with glitter photos, it didn't happen.  These are actually super duper sparkly!  Have any of you done this week's theme?  What do you think?  Have a great week!  Thanks for looking!

FOTM: Sinful Colors Daddy's Girl

UPDATE: I found the original post about the varying formulas HERE. Go check it out and decide for yourself :)

Hi everyone!  How was your holiday weekend?  Mine was......... boring.  lol  All of my friends were in other places, and it was hotter than hell here so I stayed home and watched the Casey Anthony trial.  That's all I'll say about it because if you get me started I probably won't quit!

Last night, I reached 50 followers!  I'm in shock :)  I do want to thank everyone, but I'm not going to have a giveaway right now.  I'm going to wait longer and make it awesome!  Thanks so much everyone!  Welcome new followers :)

Today, I'm showing you the *new* formula for Sinful Colors Daddy's Girl.  When I bought this I had no idea that there were two versions of this polish.  I guess this is the new, prettier one?  I've never seen the old version.  This one is a dark purple jelly with golden flecks in it.  I think there are some pinkish ones in there too.  If you enlarge the second picture it actually shows them better (flash does come in handy sometimes!).

I am in love with this polish!  It had been an untried before I swatched it for today, but I can see it becoming a favorite soon.  I love purples and pinks, but I get bored really quickly with creams and such. This has flecks that shimmer like crazy!  Those babies don't quit.  I was stunned when I was taking these pictures!  If I wear it again soon I'll see if I can get some different angles.  My camera has been acting really funny lately (which sucks because I just got it in October!) and I can't get clear pictures without the flash on.  You'll probably be able to tell in this series that most of them are with flash.  I'm afraid some of the colors are a little washed out from it.  I apologize in advance.  :(  That being said, I think that's all for today!

Thanks for looking!

FOTM: First July post :) Mystery Sinful Colors

Hey everyone!  Happy July!  Today I have the first finish of the month post for July.  Can you guess which finish won?  Glass flecks!  Okay.  I'm lame.  On to the polish!

The first polish this month is a gorgeous magentaish polish with blue and pink shimmer.  The pictures I took show it a little more pink than it is, it's actually a little more berry colored.  This is three coats.

Outside, flash
Pointer finger most accurate
Inside, flash
I had a lot of trouble getting a good picture, but I guess these will do.  You can see all the pretty glass in it :)  I could tell you the name of this polish, but it made it to my house without a name sticker.  Sorry!

That's all for this short little post.  Will be putting up a new poll for next month in the next day or two.  Thanks for looking!
