Hi guys! Today I have the last two comparisons that I have. Color Club Revvvolution is probably the prettiest black I've ever seen. Without layering, of course. It has a great formula, thick without being unmanageable and almost a one coater. If you were careful I'm sure you could manage it. It has a gorgeous holo that leans green/yellow on me and is pretty linear though not strong. It's a favorite that I wear frequently in the summer!
My franken, that has no name, is what I imagine MPJ to be... But better! I've never found a good picture of the original formula, so I can't tell you for sure how close they are but I deff had it in mind. Who doesn't love an amazing black holo? Sadly, I don't remember how I made it... I just remember using the old, gloopy, almost gone bottle of ChG's Fairy Dust. This is THICK. I add thinner almost every time I use it but it gets thick again! It needs to coats to be opaque. This is going to be a favorite for a long time!
Let's look at some pictures!

The sparklies that you see are from the Fairy Dust |

Can you see that linear green/blue coming out? |

Green peaking out |

You can see the blue really well here |

And there it is again, though not as good. |
So, what do you guys think of this? I am IN LOVE. It isn't the strongest, but it is linear and it IS really pretty! What should I call it? Ideas? Thanks for looking!
Pretty! Name idea: 'étincelle de noir'
ReplyDeleteLiterally translated it means "spark of black" or "black spark". :)
That's very pretty! I like A Polished Touch's idea for a name.
ReplyDelete...I tagged you in a “What’s in my purse?” blog :) ... http://definitely-addicted.blogspot.com/2011/06/whats-in-my-purse.html
@A Polished Touch
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THAT! Especially since in the last picture the individual sparklies are red and orange... Or because it's French and everything sounds amazing in French :)
Nice Colors !!
