Lex review + Halloween design

*OMG I thought I posted this almost a month ago! SO Sorry Alexa!*

Hi everyone!  Today, I have a long awaited LEX Cosmetics review.  I've been meaning to do it, but thought I needed sun for the swatches, then busy with work and blahblahblah... Turns out none of that mattered!  I was able to make this polish look gorgeous anyway! :)
First up, I'll just let you drool at the pics.  There are TONS of them.  Then I'll tell you a little about the polish and the brand.  Deal?  Awesome.  Take a look:

Now that you've seen about half of the million pictures, I want you to go back and look again.  Notice how each nail almost has it's own color of shimmer?  There is pink, green, blue and yellow (mostly).  That will be important later on.  Remember that.

Lex allows customers to submit ideas for shades, and then they periodically hold contests to decide which new colors will be made.  Additionally, a story is submitted with each color, that tells of the inspiration.
Here is the info on seashell:

SEASHELL by Sarah

Created by Sarah, this color mimics the inside of a seashell, an iridescent/oil spill that not only captures the beauty of the seashell, but also the beauty of nature in general. It shows nature and it's beauty.

Proceeds of this polish ($1 from each bottle sold) go towards domestic abuse awareness.  Each shade has it's own charity!  How neat is that?  All in all, I am VERY pleased with this polish!

I have a little more about the company below, but I have a few pictures of a "Halloween" design I thought would be amazing with Seashell as a base.  Check it out:

Hi, weird looking Pinky!
As you can see, I had a few issues with stamping, but I'm overall happy with the way it turned out.

A little more about Lex Cosmetics (taken from their site):

At Lex Cosmetics, we believe that beauty permeates from each one of you and that your individual spirits make you gorgeous! That's why we don't understand why big companies dictate what you should or should not buy in order to feel more beautiful. You should decide what makes you feel great, which is why our company was formed. We were founded on the belief that beauty should be created by those who use it and that make-up and nail polish are fun, so why not join in the creation experience?!
Additionally, we do not believe beauty is only skin deep. We find the most attractive people to be those who give back and dedicate their money and/or time to making our world a better place. Since we place such great importance on giving back to the world, we will be donating a percentage of profits to different non-profits and organizations that are important to you, which is why you will choose them!
So dig through magazines for inspiration, upload pictures of colors you love or just tell us what beauty products you are looking for and we'll make them. Because at Lex Cosmetics, Beauty is By You.
If you'd like to find out more, you can visit their website.  Polishes are $10 each and well worth it!  What shades do you guys have?   Thanks for reading!
