This is going to begin my final holiday collection reviews. I feel horrible for not getting them done, and I'm going to knock them out all in a row so they will be out there for you guys! I have three, then Thursday and Friday will be manis, then next week will be a regular schedule! PHEW!
Also, sorry for taking last week off unexpectedly. I've felt like poo and just really haven't had any inspiration. Forgive me!
Finally, you will notice in the next several posts that my nails are..... boyish. This has been a problem I've dealt with all winter and it's led to major frustrations! I've decided to move past it to continue to pump out posts for you guys. I hope we can all move past it! :)
Hi everyone! Today I am showing you the SinfulColors Holiday Wish collection. I've had this for awhile, but I haven't really had a chance to go through all of it with you! This collection was sent to me ages ago, but due to reasons already mentioned, I hadn't gotten around to it. I finally bit the bullet and decided I'd have to move on and do it anyway. I'm not sure I can do these justice, but I tried! So, let's take a look!
Out of This World
Out of This World is a semi-sheer silver with silver glitter. Went on nicely, with fairly good control. I've heard you can get away with two coats, but I used three here. I would recommend three anyway. Very nice.
Daddy's Girl
This is a polish "WOW." Dark purple jelly with lots of glass flecks! As some of you may know, I love my flecked polishes! Problem is, the beauty doesn't translate on camera. There are pink, orange and purple flecks in this polish and it is beautiful! This is three coats.
Sugar, Sugar
The perfect holiday red. This could be a one coat polish if you are careful, but I used two to be safe. Good application, no problems with cleanup!
Midnight Blue
Another *one* coater! I really don't feel the need for two coats with this polish. Application was nearly perfect, with great coverage. Your "average" midnight blue with some lighter blue shimmer. Makes it shine!
Last Chance
I have seen this beauty described as cream, but I beg to differ. What looks like a cream in the bottle goes on squishy. (As you can see at the edges of my pinky nail. So sloppy! Yikes!) This reminds me of what I would think NARS Zulu is like! I don't have it, but I'm loving this green enough that I can call it a stand in. :)
Nail art: Flower Girl (bronze/gold) and Fashionista (silver glitter)
As far as nail art goes, these are pretty run of the mill. I was very impressed, however, with Flower Girl and how opaque it was! I didn't have to go over the line a second time. I recommend these if you are into nail art! (And actually use the art polishes. I can't use them to save my life!)
My feelings on this collection are pretty mixed. On the one hand, all of the polishes were incredible. On the other, they were all re-promotes. The polishes are all amazing. As a collection they don't really fit the theme (Where does Daddy's Girl fit in?). The polishes are all beautiful. However, I am essentially very pleased. If you don't have these shades, pick them up! Especially Daddy's Girl and Last Chance! I am IN LOVE with both of those. Out of This World is another that is fairly unique. As for the rest, they are hit and miss. If you have shades like them, you can probably skip. Otherwise, they are of incredible quality for the price.
If you haven't heard of SinfulColors and would like more information, you can check out their Facebook. They are available at Walgreens and other drugstores for $1.99 each, but are usually on special for an even better price!
What do you think of the brand? Let me know down below! (I rhymed teehee) Thanks for reading!

pretty!! I have these colors and I don't think I've used them yet!! i SHOULD!
ReplyDeleteThey all look great! I've seen colors that I like from Sinful Colors, but haven't got any for myself...
ReplyDeleteI keep getting dissapointed when I buy Sinful shades - they always end up watery and I don't get good coverage at all. I did see the strip polishes they had at holiday and picked up a couple of them - most of the shades I either had or did not want as I have a big selection of Stripe Rite sold/bought at Sally's. I am always a sucker for bright metallic reds and ditto on blues. Both of those are stunning looking in your swatches.
