Hi everyone! I am finally starting part two of my Zoya Fall collection posts. I feel like I've put this off much longer than two months! It needs to be done before I receive the holiday polishes, though. ;) This will be pretty short and sweet. All of these polishes applied in the usual amazing Zoya style, so no need to talk about that. I will basically tell you how I feel about the color themselves. So, let's get started!
Rekha
This was descried as a bright red by the company. I think it is too bright for a blood red, so I think it is more of a true red. The shade works very well on my skin tone, and I don't hate it! This is a very good basic red.
Toni
This is a muted berry cream. The dustiness almost makes it unique, but I think it pulls a little bit too blue on me.
Monica
A blue based purple. This is what it actually looks like on me, but it appears to be a tad brighter in everyone else's swatches. I can never resist a good dark purple!
Natty
This is a smokey version of what I always called "cadet blue" when I was younger. I always think Military when I see these shades. I don't have anything like it, and I'm quite enamored with it.
Evvie
A dusty sage grey. If that makes sense. This photographed more green on me than grey, which I am very thankful for! I don't have anything like this one either.
Noot
A darker version of Evvie. I actually think more grey, as well. For a green I really like this one. It's almost not green! lol
Overall, I feel this was a very basic collection. I don't have a huge stash, so a few of these were unique to me, but I don't think they will be to everyone. They are great basics, and very fall, though!
These are available individually and as a set on zoya.com and are $8 each.
What do you think of these? Let me know and thanks for reading!
*Polishes in this post were sent for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*
Natty looks gorgeous on you! I too think of it as a cadet blue.
ReplyDeleteWait...did you say you DIDN'T have a large stash? Haha.
Love the changes you've made to your blog BTW!
