I'm sorry for the messiness of my pictures. I've made a bad habit of waiting until late to do my nails, so I take my pictures and stuff before it is all the way dry so it's still messy. If I try to clean up before I'm dry I always mess it up really bad!
This is my first attempt at dotting. I'm very pleased with how it looks crappy, but because of the colors I used it really really cute as well :) My favorite color combinations include a dark brown and pastels. I'm so glad I did this! I used two coats Seche Rebuild (I have horrible nails!); three coats each of ChG Unplugged, Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power and ChG Bahamian Escape; on top I used a coat of ChG Fast Forward.
So, what do you guys think? Any suggestions on how to keep my hands steady while I dot? Thanks for looking!
I like the color combination you used!
ReplyDeletePut the hand that you are painting down on a table and the hand you paint with, rest it on something like your knee or even the table to keep it steady. It just needs to be stabalized under the forearm or wrist!
ReplyDelete@KarenD Aren't they pretty? This is my DREAM color palette... When I finally have a family my babies rooms are going to be these colors!
ReplyDelete@Lacquered Lover I'm going to try it, but what do you use to make the same sized dots? I had as much trouble with that as anything else!
@The Nail BuffThanks! It was $2 on Amazon!
